1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Watson's voice transcription service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Use License

Watson grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • Modify, copy, or create derivative works based on the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
  • Transfer, sublicense, or resell the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

Plan Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time. Changes will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

5. Usage Limits

Your use of the Service is subject to usage limits based on your subscription plan:

  • Free Plan: 1,000 words per week
  • Starter Plan: 50,000 words per week
  • Unlimited Plan: No word limits

We reserve the right to enforce these limits and may suspend or terminate accounts that exceed limits through fraudulent means.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all rights to the audio files and content you submit to the Service. By uploading content, you grant Watson a limited license to process, store, and transcribe your audio files solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Our Content

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and other content (excluding your content), is owned by Watson and protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • End-to-end encryption for all transcriptions
  • Secure data storage and transmission
  • Regular security audits and updates
  • Compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit harmful or malicious code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Collect user information without consent
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with the Service's operation

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Watson does not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Transcriptions will be 100% accurate
  • All errors will be corrected
  • The Service is free from viruses or harmful components

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Watson SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will cease immediately
  • You will lose access to your account and data
  • We may delete your data after 30 days

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
